Eventful Week

Wednesday was shopping day with my GDMA girls :) We stimulated the economy that day. You're welcome! XD

Nikon D5000, 18-55mm

Yesterday was the IDDS show at Kwantlen in Richmond. The design pieces up for display were impressive for some; however, I was very disappointed in the designers. I did not get a glimps of them until I walked by a classroom in the back. These designers completely isolated themselves from guests that came to see the show. When I asked them to come out and talk about their works, I received answers that I felt were arrogant. They went back chattering among themselves after that. I can't help but feel that they had no sense of pride in their work. Good luck to your design future fellas.

Today: flowers are beginning to scatter on the ground, but they are still beautiful.

Pissing Rain & Howling Wind

During the small breaks from our horrible weather today, I decided to take out the big gun and took some pictures near my house...

Science World + A Wet Sunny Day

So, my class had a field trip to Science World to learn how children interact with interactive activities in a "museum" setting. I felt like such a creeper... taking pictures of random kids while they were playing. This little kid was trying to touch the Hippo x] Oh look! Paul and Davidson teaming up to build a dam that denied a little kid of the flowing water :o lol~

When I woke up today, I expected it to be raining all day but to my surprise I saw rays of sunshine! I looked out my window and the water drops left from last night's rain was shining on the leaves and branches in my backyard. They were beautiful :) Although I was suppose to be at the passport office by 8am and it was already 8:30am, I decided to take some pictures anyways x]

I simply love these flowers in my backyard so of course I had to take photos of them again :) This time I stole the 70-300mm lens hood and held it up for the 18-55mm lol.

$2 Meal

Today is the Old Spaghetti Factory's 40th anniversary and they went back in time and served from their 1970's menu! All except one dish are $1.95 with fair portion. I guess it was my fault for not reading what is included with the meal and paid extra for the Cesar salad. $32.28 filled up 6 stomachs and I thought that was pretty amazing. Thanks Old Spaghetti Factory! :D

Aldrich Pears Association

DSC05452

Went to Aldrich Pears Association yesterday to learn more about museum design. Maybe it was the McDonald that I had right before the field trip, I wasn't able to focus on much of the talk though it was interesting. Damn you McDonald!

On a different note...SNOOPY!! Thank you hunny :D

and it begins...

DSC05405

My blogging days shall begin again! This shall be about my soft spot for photography and design (maybe food) :D Being the nit-picky person I am, I will redesign the look of this blog during the summer. Right now I just don`t have the time for dealing with HTML :x

This first post is part of my "Photo-A-Day" challenge which can be seen on my Flickr account. Shot taken from a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T70.

I also bought a remote for my D5000 today :D
